God thank you for opening our eyes to additional needs in our community. He continues to bless us so we can assist so many families.
We have been provided for in many ways, and we feel a great deal of gratitude. In the first five months of 2025, we have expanded our network of contacts, which has introduced us to the work that Fostering Connections is doing for foster families. They are doing amazing work with grace, and we are eager to support them. We have also been blessed with financial assistance, which has enabled us to partner with Paws for Reflection and Fostering Connections to help send children for equine/animal therapy.
We Need Your Help
Supporting foster children on their first day of school is a profound way to make a tangible difference in their lives. By donating money, you directly enable the purchase of new clothes, a seemingly simple act that carries immense weight for these vulnerable youth. Imagine the confidence and sense of belonging a child feels when they walk into school, not with hand-me-downs or ill-fitting attire, but with an outfit chosen specifically for them, just like their peers. This act of generosity goes beyond providing material goods; it’s about fostering dignity, self-worth, and the knowledge that they are seen, valued, and worthy of a fresh start. Your contribution ensures that their first day is filled with the excitement and hope every child deserves, free from the added burden of feeling different or overlooked.

Thanks to generous donations,
we were able to provide snack boxes to 25 foster families. Each box was filled to the brim with snacks, a $50 HEB gift card, and some free meals provided by Midlothian Chick-fil-A.
We were part of the Ellis County Foster Parent Appreciation event and the families loved having the extra meals and snacks to provide to their foster children, and we were thrilled to help out a local organization in this way.

THANK YOU, we were shocked and honored the 4x4x48 warriors selected Standing in the Gap for this honor.
They participated in a 4x4x48 endurance challenge together to raise money and awareness for Freed People and Standing in the Gap.
The 4x4x48 was created by David Goggins. The challenge was to run or walk 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. Each person which finished logged 48 miles in 48 hours! The warriors took on the challenge together. We are so grateful for them!!

Because of your generous donations,
we have helped 70 Children as part of the CarePortal. These donations range from school supplies, diapers, clothes, and other needs. CarePortal is a system that is causing systemic change to occur in communities to reverse our nation’s foster care crisis as a result of the meaningful connections formed through CarePortal. CarePortal connects agencies and schools that know the needs with churches and other organizations willing to help these families.
