God thank you for opening our eyes to additional needs in our community. He continues to bless us so we can bless others.
We are grateful for the blessings of the first three months of 2025. Our contact list has expanded, and we toured the Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center, witnessing their amazing work. The dedicated women there perform much needed tasks with grace. We are eager to support them. We also met with Fostering Connections to discuss their vision and how we can help. We are committed to supporting them as needed.
Thanks to your generous donations,we were able to:
Provide essential items to multiple foster placements.
Supported children in schools with shoes, clothes, and coats.
Assisted 22 children through the Careportal program including clients of The Heights and Red Oak ISD.
Continued to equip 3 foster agencies and the Foster Closet with much needed supplies.
THANK YOU, we were shocked and honored they selected Standing in the Gap for this honor.
Midlothian High School Theater Booster Club and Theater Students. They accepted the ‘Seize the Day’ challenge,
The “Seize the Day” Challenge is a movement in which theatre organizations that license Newsies are invited to activate a community service project in the spirit of Newsies.
Midlothian High School Theatre Boosters and students proudly accepted that challenge and partnered with Midlothian-based non-profit Standing in the Gap. Standing in the Gap is a bridge to supplying children and families in urgent need with essential resources to ensure every child feels supported and valued.
After collecting donations throughout performances, Midlothian High School Theatre Boosters proudly presented a check to Standing In The Gap for $3,246. We are proud to support this organization to be the very change needed to benefit the children and families in our own community.

A big shout out
to Noah’s Ark Bible School! The kids and parents brought new pajamas for the Foster Closet. They were so generous, we could barely lift the bags! It’s heartwarming to see how much they care about the community.
